Inside Holiday House Hamptons

Untitled

This past weekend, the AphroChic team was in the Hamptons to celebrate the opening of Holiday House Hamptons.  Me, Bryan, and my sister Angela Belt, attended the opening night white party gala and got a VIP press preview of each of the rooms transformed by 24 designers in a beautiful Hamptons mansion.  Here are exclusive images from a night of good design for a good cause - benefitting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Interior designer Thom Filicia is a Design Chairman for this year's event.  He created a relaxed interior that celebrates classic Hamptons style.  The design was dedicated to his mother Janet who passed away from breast cancer.

One of my favorite pieces in the house was the large daybed swing that is big enough to fit a whole family.

This fireplace design was also stunning.  I love the idea of filling an unused fireplace with classic books.

Ally Coulter designed a feminine space inspired by Marilyn Monroe.  Ally was channeling Marilyn in a beautiful white gown.

The room was a celebration of femininity with flowers, gorgeous glass, mirrored pieces, and black and white images of the female icon.

Designer Timothy Brown created the most masculine space that featured lots of wood and mid-century modern pieces.

I loved the colorful art installation above the sofa.

Mr. AphroChic snuck a shot of me next to one of the photographs in Timothy's room.

Fawn Galli designed a colorful space that celebrated girly style.  Eskayel wallpaper was used as a cool backdrop to black and white art that was featured throughout her vignette.

I immediately fell for these layered illustrations.

The Design House team created a space that featured lots of color, pattern, art and global accessories.

Angela and I couldn't resist perching on the pink settee.

Outside guests were all in white enjoying wine and sushi by the pool.

We ran into the lovely Libby Langdon who designed the home's upstairs hallway featuring her new wallpaper collection.

And Christopher Hyland of Hyland Magazine who is the Co-Chair of Holiday House Hamptons.

We enjoyed ourselves into the evening, celebrating design for a cause in one of the most picturesque places.
