House Tour: Commune Design

Commune Design: Carnation Street

Commune Design in Los Angeles designs some incredibly beautiful homes. On a visit to their website, this Silver Lake home caught my eye. A modern interior with white walls and wood trim has been turned into a soulful and well-traveled home with a collection of original art and global textiles.

The modular sofa in the living room is home to brightly colored kilim cushions.  They remind me of the kind you can find at Rummage in LA.

I love the playful mix of patterns used in the bedding. The mix of color and pattern creates an eclectic look.

Curvy wishbone chairs surrounding this hard-edged table soften this dining room. The gallery wall adds a dose of the unexpected to the dining area.

Bertoia stools in black stand out in this wood-paneled kitchen.

This deck is so gorgeous. I woud love to move in. It's perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying long nights by the fire.
