I have another pre-holiday giveaway for you! This one from Hampton Forge offers another way for you to bring some bright pops of color home. These knives are color-coordinated and labeled for hygenic and safe food preparation. The idea is brilliant and so are the colors.
One lucky reader can win a set of Hampton's Tomodachi cutlery which includes an all-purpose knife, chef's knife, bread knife, and Santoku. The knives come with blade guards and are dishwasher safe which is fantastic for easy cleaning.
So, what do you have to do to win? Simply leave your first initial and last name in the comment section, and let me know why you need these knives in your life. You have until 11:59pm EST on Friday, December 16th to enter. Good luck!

T. Dowell. I NEED these in my kitchen so that my husband will quit using the wrong knives for things. My set is getting quite dull!
ReplyDeleteL.Williams
ReplyDeleteA Gomez - totally paranoid about germs/cross-contamination, so this would be fabulous for us!
ReplyDeleteM.Louis - I need for my new kitchen
ReplyDeletee. cornelius i need them because the ones i have are all dull and i like to pretend that i can chop veggies like rachael ray, you can't do that with the dullnest.
ReplyDeleteI think I need these knifes because the only knife I still only own is a steak knife from my college days. And that was umm... 10 years ago!!

ReplyDeleteNew knives are something I dream about. My hubby and I are still using the cheap knife set we got for our wedding 12 years ago.

ReplyDeleteMy knives are old and dull. These knives are cool and hip. They would definitely bring life into my kitchen.

ReplyDeleteWell I'm a fan of cooking, and any good cook knows you can never have too many knives of too many gadgets.
L. Zabeth: I really need these in my life. Our set was (I'm sure) a very thoughtful wedding gift from a dear friend. But it is a pretty flimsy version of the set that WAS on our wedding registry. Cutting with them is challenging to say the least. Plus I'm nearly 100% certain that the Hampton Tomodachi cutlery would inspire me to cook healthier meals for my family :)

ReplyDeleteI need these knives since the only knives I've ever owned have come from the thrift store. I'm not sure I know what using a fresh, sharp knife is actually like!
J. Cox. 2012 is going to be the year I start cooking -- no more delivery, no more takeout, I'm going to make that stuff myself! I'll need some knives to chop, chop, chop it up.

ReplyDeleteIn a perfect world I would love to cook, but in this world I HATE with a dry passion. These knives would inspire me to get in the kitchen and try to be a better woman. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays
P. Colley- I would love to own these knives because as a retiree, I cook as a volunteer at an old folks home and a church. People are always coming up to offer their assistance with cutting and it would be lovely to hand them one of these knives. Also my youngest son is a custom knife maker, (not kitchen knives) and he would love to know that his Mother had such a lovely kitchen knife.
ReplyDeleteS. Daniel - these are so cute! And my wedding-gift knives are starting to wear out after almost 10 years.

I have a similar set but would love to give these to my younger sister!

ReplyDeleteI actually don't have a set of knives that were all my own. I inherited a mismatched set from my folks years ago. :)
When I moved into my home, my kitchen needed a remodel . . . ten years later it still needs a remodel. The knives would certainly help to brighten things up a bit. Remodel or not, I'm grateful for my little kitchen! Good Luck to you all!
